Já, allir út á dansgólfið segi ég nú bara. Kap10Kurt er að koma til landsins! Þessi eiturhressi og loðni svisslendingur gerir tölvuleikjadiskósveitina sína út frá New York. Ubersveitt diskó út í gegn. Eða house... eða techno.. ég þekki ekki rétt vel muninn, en þetta er aðeins skemmtilegra en margt annað í þessum geiranum. Læt bara upplýsingar af Iceland Airwaves síðunni tala sínu máli:

Originally from Switzerland, he has been making music with an Atari computer for many years before ending up with a proper studio set-up. Kap10kurt’s music spans a number of genres including electro, gameBoy noise, 80's new wave and 70’s synthesizer funk. More than apparent in many of the Kap10kurt's recordings is his immense attention to detail, which brought him work as a programmer and remixer for major stars like Moby, The Bravery and Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan which released 3 kap10kurt remixes and even invited Kurt to play synthesizer in his 2007 concerts.

The ’Dangerseekers’ single exploded on all the major blogs and got them placed on the critically acclaimed Kitsune Udon Compilation. The vinyl release contains remixes by Tepr (Yelle’s producer), Rolf Honey (Yuksek) and Shinichi Osawa. The upcoming ‘Mission Complete’ single also features Tepr along with blog favorites Ocelot and Moulinex.

More recently, Kap10Kurt just got selected as “artists to watch in 2008” by URB magazine and the ‘Dangerseekers video’ was front page on Dailymotion (130,000 views to date) and XLR8R magazine. The live show is carefully crafted for optimum listening and viewing pleasure and features live drums and synthesizer madness and is NOT to be missed.
